The design and display of ZenBook Duo 14 UX482 synchronize. However, what makes it better is the sheer refinement that Asus seems to have mastered in the last few years. Dual screens, slim profile, and basic ports all while having a considerable heat dissipating design, Asus is absolutely improving at this generation-over-generation.

One of the notable changes in the Asus Zenbook Duo from the previous generation is that the secondary screen now lifts-up a little when you open the laptop. It is a similar type of mechanical implementation first seen in the Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo. The thickness is like any other laptop, and the weight is satisfactory (1.5kg to 1.6kg).

Needless to say, the Asus Zenbook Duo 14 is on the heavier side, taking into account an additional screen and more components inside powering it, along with other elements. Although, carrying it around might not be as much of a problem.

The new generation Asus Zenbook Duo 14 UX482 is updated with two screens. The main one is 14-inches and FHD in resolution, with apparently 400-nits of brightness and 100% sRGB colors. The secondary screen, aka ScreenPad+, has a 12.65-inch IPS screen with 1920x515 pixels and support for the stylus. Apart from this, the ScreenPad+ does strike multitasking to the next level.

When it comes to keyboard performance, it’s pretty impressive as the travel time of the keys is the same as what you usually see in laptops. Due to the ScreenPad+ and the touchpad on the right side, the keyboard is slightly cramped than usual, but it won’t be an issue.

Considering the specs, the Asus Zenbook Duo 14 is based on the late-2020 Intel Tiger Lake hardware platform, with options for 4C/8T i5 and i7 processors coordinated with amalgamated Iris Xe graphics on an optional Nvidia MX450 dGPU.

Final Opinion

All in all, the Asus Zenbook Duo 14 UX482 is one powerful and fully-featured laptop keeping the target audience in mind. Most importantly, Asus has done an excellent job in filtering the design and appearance while adding more power on the inside.
