Xiaomi has been on a roll these past years, launching so many new products and each one better and more improved than the last one and what’s more they are tremendously affordable too. But this one is rather more expensive than Xiaomi’s other models but it has a reason to be, Xiaomi is launching 5G connection technology, which is fairly new in India. But is the phone worth it? Realme X50 Pro comes in two different colours; Rustic Red and Moss Green. The material of the back is designed by SKC company of South Korea, the colour film has endured six processes of coating and curing with 21 days of careful polishing, and has presented you with the unique but high-end colours that have a matte finish. Both colours are good looking with a glossy look to it.

The dimensions of Realme X50 Pro are; 15.9 cm in height,1 cm in depth and 7.4 cm in width. The display is 16.4cm (6.44") and it is 90Hz Super AMOLED Fullscreen. The resolution on it is 2400x1080 FHD+ and the screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The Maximum brightness is MAX 1000nit, the Maximum screen Contrast is 2000000:1 and the Colour gamut is 100% DCI-P3. All in all, Realme X50 Pro is perfect for watching videos and can also give you an amazing gaming experience. It is also fairly light weighted and weighs about 207 g. Like any other Realme phone, it has a fingerprint scanner on one side that also works as the power button, volume buttons on the other side, and a USB Type-C port on the bottom of the phone.


The features of Realme X50 Pro are phenomenal as seeing this is one of the only 5G Connectivity Phones out there in India. The connectivity is extremely good, theoretically, it has the download speed of up to 3.45 Gbps, which is 10x higher than 4G. It would take less than 10s to download an HD movie, and live-streaming at 4K ultra-clear resolutions is achieved without any buffering. It also has connectivity features such as; Dual-Channel Network Acceleration and Dual Wi-Fi Network Acceleration which would enable extremely great internet access to your phone.

Now, for the processor, it is QUALCOMM Snapdragon 865 5G Processor, CPU: 7nm FFP, Octa-core, Up to 2.84GHz and the GPU: Adreno 650 and the AIE: 5th Generation Qualcomm AI Engine. With such a powerful processor, it will ensure any app on this phone would run smoothly and effectively and you can also run multiple apps and maybe even play a game simultaneously and the phone won’t hang and would run smoothly. It also has a new technology called Vapor Cooling System that would ensure that while you are running multiple apps and playing games, the phone would remain cool and the system won’t overheat.

The battery of Realme X50 Pro is 65W SuperDart Charge 4200mAh, Xiaomi claims the phone would be fully charged in about 35 minutes. Now, about the camera, the Realme X50 Pro has four rear cameras; 12MP Telephoto Lens that is Up To 20X ZOOM, 64MP Main Camera with a 1/1.72-inch Sensor Size, 8MP Ultra Wide-angle & Macro Lens 119° that has 3cm Shooting Distance and the B&W Portrait Lens F2.4 Aperture.

The functions of the rear camera are; Portrait Distortion Correction, HyperText, Ultra 64MP Mode, Ultra Nightscape, Super Nightscape, Panoramic view, Expert mode, Time-lapse, Portrait mode, HDR, Ultra-wide mode, Ultra macro mode, AI scene recognition, AI Beauty, Filter, Chroma Boost, Slow Motion, Bokeh Effect Control.

There are 2 front cameras; Sony 32MP wide-angle camera, FOV 80.4°, f/2.5, 5P lens, Sony IMX 616 and the 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, FOV 105°, f/2.2, 5P lens. The functions of the front camera are; Portrait Mode, Time-lapse, Panoramic view, AI Beauty, HDR, Face-Recognition, Filter, Portrait Nightscape, Bokeh Effect Control.

The audio features on this phone are; Dual Speaker, Superlinear speaker, Double mic noise suppression, Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio. It also has a Dual Frequency GPS that includes; GPS, AGPS, Glonass, Beidou, NAVICit. The sensors of the Realme X50 Pro are; Magnetic induction sensor, Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Gyro-meter, Acceleration sensor and NFC. Final Opinion

If you have a budget of Rs. 40,990 and are into high-end phones, then you should invest in this phone. It is an extremely good phone which is coming fairly cheap considering all the features it has. The 5G technology is the one that makes the phone stand out from all the others in the market, if you want to experience the technology first-hand then buying this phone would be great for you. The camera is the second-best thing about this phone, Realme X50 Pro consists of so many features and functions that it won’t ever leave you dissatisfied. It is also a phone which is overall great at performing various things, it is a great buy for the money you would be giving.
